Your new LinkedIn banner, headline and Featured

Five options, each a different layout. Pick one number and use that option's banner, headline and Featured tile together. Every option sends GCs to one thing, your free 2026 DSA Pay Sheet, with one keyword: “PAY”. Each banner is shown at real phone size too, so you can see it reads.

TO BUILD: the pay sheet doesn't exist yet. Write it before the banner goes up. What goes in it is below.

Your plan

Who
VP Ops, Project Executives and owners at California GCs doing DSA, OSHPD and LAUSD work, with a Super or PM seat open and a schedule that won't wait.
The workshop
Interview to Offer in Under a Week: a 45-minute Zoom for GC leaders, built on the GC client you place ~5 people a year for, where interview to offer takes under a week when the timing lines up.
Your profile
The banners and headline say Supers and PMs for DSA GCs, and DM “PAY” sends the 2026 DSA Pay Sheet. The pay sheet is the giveaway. The Zoom is the next step up, where you walk through those numbers live. Build the pay sheet first.
DM or invite
Someone likes a post or connects: send the one-shot DM. GC leaders on your list: send invite 1, the follow-up 2 days later, then the Hail Mary 3 days after that. Three touches, then stop.

How to put it live

  1. Build the pay sheet (one page, your numbers).
  2. Pick one option below.
  3. Upload the banner. It's already 1584 × 396.
  4. Paste the headline into Edit intro.
  5. Featured → Add a link → the pay sheet, then upload the tile as its image.
  6. Reply to every “PAY” with the sheet, then the DM below.

Option 1Your current banner, made stronger: your face, who you're for and your years. The one we'd pick.

What “PAY” sends them

Draft cover of the 2026 DSA Pay Sheet

What's He Making Now? The 2026 DSA Pay Sheet

You said it yourself: “10 years pricing this market and I can tell you the number before you ask.” This puts that number on one page. The cover is a draft with no numbers on it.

  • Base ranges for Superintendent, Senior Super, PM, APM, PE and Estimator.
  • DSA, OSHPD and LAUSD work vs standard commercial, by region: Bay Area, Sacramento, LA, Inland Empire, San Diego.
  • Per diem, truck or truck allowance, and when the bonus lands.
  • The three offer killers from your 22 Sep post: three weeks to offer, matching the counter, one PM on three jobs.
  • Only numbers you'd say out loud on a call, and how many Supers and PMs they're based on.

The one-shot DM

Send it to anyone who likes or comments on your posts, or who's just connected. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Hey [FIRST NAME], I'm about to head out the door to pick up the kids, so I wanted to send this before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!), so I wanted to properly say hi.

I'm Johnny. I run Eighty6 Group. We find Supers and PMs for GCs doing DSA, OSHPD and LAUSD work across California. That's all we do.

Your profile reminded me of [CLIENT NAME], who I was just on the phone with. [He/She] had a Super seat open since [MONTH], and [RESULT].

Here's why it works. The best Supers never see a job posting. They're on a jobsite running their crew. So we go and get them, screen them properly before any interview, and I can tell you what he's making now before you make the offer. When the timing lines up, interview to offer takes under a week.

It's taken me 10 years and hundreds of Supers and PMs to get that right.

Right now we've got an offer where [THE OFFER].

As you can imagine, post and pray isn't a big fan of us haha.

Anyway, I really have to get the kids or they'll be late for [ACTIVITY].

Happy to walk you through how it works. I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow?

If not, no biggie at all. Happy to just send you the 2026 DSA pay sheet instead.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Johnny

Invite them to a workshop

These messages invite GC leaders on your list to one short Zoom. The first two only ask if they'd like to join. The link goes out in the Hail Mary, or as soon as someone says yes.

The workshop

Interview to Offer in Under a Week: Hiring DSA Supers and PMs in 2026

What DSA Supers and PMs are really making, and the process that gets an offer out before your competitor's.

  • Zoom (your buyers are spread from San Diego up the coast)
  • 45 minutes, lunchtime Pacific
  • [SEATS] GC leaders (10 is a good room)
  • Free
What it covers
  1. What DSA Supers and PMs are really making right now, by role and region (from the pay sheet).
  2. The process: technical questions attached to every resume, plans reviewed in advance, and Supers technically screened before any Teams interview.
  3. Why good Supers leave (workload, communication, field support), and what one Bay Area GC did about it.
Why this workshop

It's built on your GC client who averages around 5 placements a year with you: “when the timing lines up, the interview-to-offer happens in under a week” (your 31 Jul post). Every GC with a seat open wants that. The other versions use your February client and your Bay Area client.

Before it goes live

  • Build the pay sheet first. Every option, the Featured link and the last line of the DM point to it.
  • Set up the Zoom before you invite anyone. The invites need a date and time, a seat count and a registration link, and the Hail Mary talks about pay, so the pay sheet comes first.
  • One number for your years. Your About and most posts say 10+ years, but two posts (1 and 3 Sep) say 8. The kit uses 10+. Pick one and use it everywhere.
  • Fix the website before GCs click through. The homepage still says “Technology, Life Science and Marketing”, the Clients page is behind a password, and /jobs/ returns a “page not found”.
